Earlier this month on our course we were asked by an upcoming rave DJ to create some promotional moving/imagery, for his social media. I decided to go down the branding route, by creating a rave style shirt using the bleach method making my own stencils.

 

I saw this was one of the popular styles of clothing within rave culture. I then did a photo shoot of different people within the shirt, dancing to their favourite songs as if they were in a rave atmosphere.

 

I then edited the imagery and made gif’s using adobe Photoshop, after effects and premier pro.  After making the video, I layered on text of his most recent track listing and included music from his latest mix on sound cloud.

 

DJ Furious Styles loved my response to his brief and the depth behind my research and innovation; he also gave me feedback, from which I will develop this idea more for my final hand in.
